BOTOX® Cosmetic (onabotulinumtoxinA) targets one of the underlying causes.

Repeated muscle contractions are one the underlying causes of lines in your upper face. BOTOX® Cosmetic temporarily reduces this muscle activity for the noticeable smoothing of these lines.

For temporary improvement of moderate to severe forehead lines, BOTOX® Cosmetic is injected into the frontalis muscle above your eyebrows.

For temporary improvement of moderate to severe crow’s feet lines, BOTOX® Cosmetic is injected into the orbicularis oculi muscle surrounding your eyes.

For temporary improvement of moderate to severe frown lines, BOTOX® Cosmetic is injected into the corrugators and procerus muscles in your brow area.

Do not receive BOTOX® Cosmetic if you: are allergic to any of the ingredients In BOTOX® Cosmetic (See Medication Guide for ingredient); had an allergic Reaction to any other botulinum toxin product such as Myobloc® (rimabotulinumtoxinB), Dysport® (abobotulinumtoxinA), or Xeomin® (incobotulinumtoxinA); have a skin infection at the planned injection site.

Tell your doctor about all your muscle or nerve conditions, such as ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease, myasthenia gravis, or Lambert-Eaton syndrome, as you mag be at increased risk of serious side efferts including difficulty swallowing and difficulty breathing from typical doses of BOTOX® Cosmetic.
